Barry Manilow Postpones January Tour Dates Following Early Cancer Discovery
Legendary performer Barry Manilow has announced the rescheduling of his January concert dates after doctors discovered a cancerous spot on his left lung. The discovery was made during a precautionary MRI following a persistent bout of bronchitis.
Fortunately, because the issue was caught in its earliest stages, medical professionals believe the cancer has not spread. Manilow is scheduled for surgery to remove the spot and, notably, is not expected to require chemotherapy or radiation.
Recovery and Return to the Stage

The singer will take approximately one month to recover post-surgery. While the January arena dates have been pushed to later in 2026, Manilow remains optimistic and determined to return to his fans.
-
Official Comeback: Valentine’s Day weekend (February 12, 13, and 14) at the Westgate Las Vegas.
-
Charity Success: The news follows his successful run of five annual Christmas charity concerts at the McCallum Theatre, which raised millions for Coachella Valley nonprofits.
-
A Message to Fans: Manilow is using this moment to urge his supporters to be proactive about their health, encouraging everyone to seek medical testing even for mild or seemingly “routine” symptoms.
Note to Ticket Holders: Existing tickets for the postponed January shows will be honored for the new rescheduled dates listed below.
