A Night of Country Music History With the Grandchildren of Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn
Orange, TX — Country music fans are set to experience something truly special when Twitty & Lynn, featuring Tre Twitty and Tayla Lynn, take the stage at the Lutcher Theater on February 15, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. This much-anticipated event offers a rare chance to see the next generation of country music royalty honor—and revive—the timeless sound and storytelling of their legendary grandparents, Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn.
The magic begins the moment the band launches into the unmistakable opening of “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man.” As Tre and Tayla exchange a knowing glance—one filled with the same spark Conway and Loretta shared—audiences are instantly transported back to the golden age of country duets. With Tre channeling Conway’s signature power and Tayla delivering Loretta’s heartfelt fire, fans are treated to a night steeped in nostalgia and musical legacy.

“People tell us that when they watch us sing, talk, and interact onstage, they can’t help but think there must be something genetic going on,” Tre Twitty shared. “It makes the experience feel real for them. We’re telling our grandparents’ story through our own.”
Their partnership began in 2018 after Tayla saw Tre perform a tribute to his grandfather and approached him about collaborating. Despite not growing up together, the two quickly discovered a natural bond—both musically and personally.
“Even though our paths didn’t cross when we were young, meeting Tre didn’t feel like meeting a stranger,” Tayla said. “It felt like we had always known each other because we shared so many of the same experiences.”
Since their debut performance, Twitty & Lynn have won over audiences nationwide, and their upcoming appearance at the Lutcher Theater is set to continue that tradition. The show will feature many of Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn’s biggest hits alongside stories that bring the icons’ lives, careers, and humanity to the forefront. It promises to be a heartfelt tribute to two of country music’s most beloved figures.

The concert is part of the Lutcher Theater’s enLight Series, a program dedicated to spotlighting rising talent and emerging voices across diverse musical genres. Tre and Tayla’s performance perfectly embodies the series’ mission: elevating new artists who honor the roots of American music while pushing its legacy forward.
“The enLight Series reflects our commitment to nurturing the arts and giving a platform to up-and-coming performers,” said Lynae Sanford, executive director of the Lutcher Theater. “When I saw Tre and Tayla together—and witnessed how beautifully they carry their grandparents’ legacy—I knew they belonged in this series. Their show is a testament to the strength of family ties and the enduring power of classic country music.”
