Introduction

Just over a year after bidding farewell to his U.K. fans in June 2024, Barry Manilow has stunned audiences by announcing a surprise return with a new run of “Last Last” farewell concerts scheduled for 2026.

The legendary “Copacabana” singer will tour six U.K. cities—Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Cardiff, Birmingham, and London—from June 9–17, 2026, with tickets going on sale September 5 at 10 a.m. local time.

Manilow’s farewell wasn’t exactly final. He performed 15 sold-out shows at London’s Palladium in May and June 2024 and continued a series of “final” U.S. concerts in 2025, including stops in Boston, Philadelphia, Oakland, and Sacramento. His Las Vegas residency is ongoing and will continue through 2026.

Barry Manilow Refuses to Say Goodbye, Announces New UK Farewell Tour

Reflecting on his decision to return to the U.K., Manilow shared an amusing and heartfelt statement:

“I swear, I SWEAR I really meant it when I said goodbye to everyone in the UK on the last night of our fantastic run at the London Palladium. The audiences were incredible, and that last night was very moving, knowing I wouldn’t be seeing my U.K. friends again.”

He added humor about his age and stamina:

“Flying home felt odd—I wasn’t tired, my voice held up, and each show was more thrilling than the last. I wasn’t even out of breath. I suppose ‘leave ’em wanting more’ is a good rule to follow. I’m 82, not 100—but any day now, I might lose my hair, gain a big pot belly, and need a cane to dance to ‘Copacabana.’”

But Manilow insists he’s still in top form:

“I can still run across the stage, hit the high F Natural at the end of ‘Even Now,’ and look fabulous! I said goodbye, and I meant it… sort of. But the truth is, I don’t wanna say goodbye! So we’re coming back for a great, big Barry Manilow concert. Hope you all come—we’ll have a ball!”

Throughout his illustrious career, Barry Manilow has earned 13 No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart, including classics like “I Write the Songs,” “Looks Like We Made It,” and “Mandy”, all of which also topped the Hot 100. His most recent studio album, Night Songs II, was released in February 2020.
