Barry Manilow Just Reversed His Retirement—UK Fans Stunned by ‘Last Last’ Farewell Tour Reveal!

Introduction

Just over a year after bidding farewell to his U.K. fans in June 2024, Barry Manilow has dramatically reversed course, announcing a brand-new run of “Last Last” concerts set for 2026.

The legendary “Copacabana” singer will return to the U.K. for a six-night arena tour, hitting Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Cardiff, Birmingham, and London between June 9 and June 17, 2026. Tickets for the highly anticipated shows go on sale September 5 at 10 a.m. local time.

Manilow’s previous farewell included a remarkable 15 sold-out nights at London’s iconic Palladium in May and June 2024. Since then, he has performed multiple “final” concerts across the U.S., including stops in Boston, Philadelphia, Oakland, and Sacramento. In addition, his long-running Las Vegas residency continues to entertain audiences through 2026, cementing his reputation as one of the most enduring performers of his generation.

Reflecting on the decision to return to the U.K., Manilow shared a candid statement with his fans. “I swear, I SWEAR I really meant it when I said goodbye to everyone in the U.K. on that last night at the great London Palladium,” he wrote. “The audiences were incredible as always, and that final evening was deeply moving, knowing I wouldn’t be seeing my U.K. friends again.”

The 82-year-old singer continued with his trademark humor and self-awareness: “Flying home afterward felt strange because I wasn’t even tired. My voice had held up perfectly, and each show felt more exciting than the last. I wasn’t out of breath at the end of a single performance. I suppose ‘leave them wanting more’ was a rule worth following. After all, I’m 100 years old any day now—or at least that’s how it feels—probably losing hair, gaining a big pot belly, and needing a cane to dance to ‘Copacabana.’”

“But as of now, I can still run around the stage, hit the high F Natural at the end of ‘Even Now,’ and—let’s face it—still look fabulous! I said goodbye, and I meant it… sort of. But there was one thing I realized: I don’t want to say goodbye! So, here we are, coming back for a big, fun Barry Manilow concert. I hope you all come. We’ll have a ball! Love, Barry.”

Across his six-decade career, Manilow has claimed 13 No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart, including timeless classics like “I Write the Songs,” “Looks Like We Made It,” and “Mandy,” all of which also topped the Hot 100. His most recent studio album, Night Songs II, was released in February 2020, further demonstrating his enduring creativity and appeal.

Barry Manilow’s return to the U.K. promises a mix of nostalgia, showmanship, and heartfelt connection, proving that even after a “farewell,” some legends simply can’t resist one more encore.
