Barry Manilow Announces Tour Rescheduling Following Early Cancer Detection
Music icon Barry Manilow has announced the postponement of several January concert dates after a precautionary MRI led to the discovery of a cancerous spot on his left lung.
The Health Update
The diagnosis comes on the heels of a challenging health period for Manilow, who recently battled prolonged bronchitis. Despite this, he successfully completed five annual Christmas charity concerts at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, raising millions for Coachella Valley nonprofits.
Doctors confirmed the cancer was caught in its earliest stages. Manilow is scheduled for surgery to remove the spot, and medical professionals believe the cancer has not spread. Remarkably, he is not expected to require chemotherapy or radiation.
Road to Recovery and Return to Stage

Manilow will undergo a one-month recovery period following his surgery. While January arena dates have been moved, the legendary performer plans to make his grand return just in time for Valentine’s Day weekend (February 12, 13, and 14) at the Westgate Las Vegas.
“I encourage all my fans to be proactive about their health,” Manilow shared, urging others to seek medical testing even for mild or persistent symptoms.
Note for Ticket Holders: All tickets for the affected January shows will be honored for the rescheduled dates listed below.
