Introduction
Just over a year after bidding farewell to his U.K. fans in a series of emotional concerts in June 2024, Barry Manilow has performed a remarkable U-turn, announcing a brand-new run of “Last Last” farewell shows set for 2026. The legendary “Copacabana” singer will return to arenas across the U.K., including Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Cardiff, Birmingham, and London, performing six nights from June 9 to 17. Tickets for the tour go on sale on September 5 at 10 a.m. local time, giving fans another chance to experience the magic live.
This announcement comes after a whirlwind year for Manilow, who played 15 sold-out shows at the London Palladium in May and June 2024, and continued his “final” concerts across the U.S. in 2025, performing in Boston, Philadelphia, Oakland, and Sacramento. Alongside these farewell tours, Manilow continues his long-running Las Vegas residency, which is set to extend through 2026.

Speaking about his return to the U.K., the 82-year-old singer shared a heartfelt statement reflecting on his decision: “I swear, I SWEAR I really meant it when I said goodbye to everyone in the UK on the last night of our fantastic run at the great London Palladium. The audiences there were fantastic as usual, and that last night was very moving, knowing that I wouldn’t be seeing my U.K. friends anymore.”
Yet, as Manilow admitted, leaving wasn’t as simple as it seemed. “It was odd flying home because I wasn’t tired, my voice had held up for the entire run, and each show was more exciting than the last. I wasn’t even out of breath at the end of each show. But I guess ‘leave ‘em wanting more’ was a good rule to follow. After all, I’m 100-years-old and any day now I’m probably going to lose my hair, gain a big pot belly, and need a cane to dance around to ‘Copacabana.’”
“But, as of now, I can still run around the stage, I can still hit the high F Natural at the end of ‘Even Now,’ and I still look fabulous! But I said goodbye and I meant it. Sort of. There was just one thing. I don’t wanna say goodbye! So we’re coming back. We’re going to have a great, big Barry Manilow concert! Hope you all come. We’ll have a ball! Love, Barry.”

Over his illustrious career, Manilow has achieved 13 No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart, including timeless classics such as “I Write the Songs,” “Looks Like We Made It,” and “Mandy,” all of which also topped the Hot 100. His most recent studio album, Night Songs II, was released in February 2020, proving that even after decades in the spotlight, his music continues to resonate with fans old and new alike.
With this unexpected encore, Manilow reminds the world why his music has endured for generations: it’s heartfelt, timeless, and performed with a joy that refuses to fade. The stage lights may have dimmed on his “farewell,” but for fans, the party is just beginning.
